About Lauretta Sand, MA, LMHC

Lauretta has provided counseling support for over 20 years where she enjoys working with adults, couples, families, children and adolescents. She has a warm and empathic style and really listens to your experience. Her therapeutic approach focuses on the importance of creating a safe environment through genuineness and unconditional regard. Lauretta is very interested in understanding you on every level and you will feel her deep care and compassion.  In addition, Lauretta utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, play therapy and a systemic approach.  With the systemic approach, the focus is to address not only the individual, but also their patterns and dynamics in relation to the rest of their life and relationships.
